Audi A6 C6 (2006-2011)

Audi A6 C7 (2012-2018)
In the next generation of the Audi S6, a slightly smaller and slightly weaker 4.0 V8 TFSI biturbo engine was used. As standard, it was offered with a quattro drive, and in the list of optional equipment was a sports differential. Also new was the adaptive air suspension. In 2016, the car underwent a facelift, which consisted of an increase in power by 30 hp, the addition of new Matrix LED headlights and an improved MMI system.

The 4.0 V8 TFSI biturbo engine initially generated a maximum power of 420 hp, and in 2016 it was raised to 450 hp. The maximum torque remained unchanged and was 550 Nm. The car was offered only with a 7-speed S tronic transmission.

The latest generation Audi S6 has the smallest engine in the history of the model. A gasoline 2.9 TFSI V6 went under the hood. It is also found in the Porsche Panamera. Interestingly, in Europe, the car is offered with a 3.0 TDI engine with a mild-hybrid system and an electric compressor. The Japanese S6's sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 4.5 seconds, while the car with the 3.0 TDI V6 engine is 0.5 seconds slower. In 2024, the car underwent a facelift consisting of minor stylistic changes and improvements to safety systems. The list of standard equipment includes, among others, the MMI system with 10.1" screen and navigation, Matrix LED headlights, Audi Virtual Cockpit 12.3", Pre Sense systems and adaptive cruise control.
