BMW from Japan
BMW cars are among the most frequently imported from Japan, so they could not be missing from the offer Sakura Motors. Most of the vehicles offered at auctions have left-hand drive, as wealthy drivers from the country of cherry blossom show their skills in this way.
BMW 3 Series from Japan
If you are looking for a unique BMW 3 Series, then Japan is the perfect place to go. There you will find, above all, the BMW M3 from practically all generations. The most popular are the BMW versions of the E30 series, but we also import a lot of BMW E46 from Japan. Series 3 E46 was produced from 1998 to 2005, but still looks fresh and attracts the eyes of other motorists and passers-by.
The M3 version appeared in 2000 and has a 3.2-liter engine. The car also did not miss the attention of the Alpina tuner, which offered the BMW Alpina B3 3.3 and B3 S. The real white raven is the BMW M3 E46 GTR, since only 10 of this model were produced in the road version.
BMW 5 Series from Japan
The 5 Series is a mid-size sedan, which has also won the recognition of many customers from all over the world. The most interesting proposals are the BMW E39 from Japan and the BMW E60 from Japan, preferably in M-power versions. The 5-series model of the E39 series was produced from 1995 to 2004, and the M version appeared in 1998. A powerful 394 hp V8 engine with a manual transmission went under the hood. This is a car for true connoisseurs, which will arouse respect for many decades to come.
The BMW E60 was designed by Chris Bangle, who was responsible for the styling of the 7 Series from that period. However, the 5 series did not cause such controversy and was warmly received by customers. Produced between 2003 and 2010, the M5 version of the E60 series took the stage in terms of engine and power. A 500 hp V10 engine was used here. It could be ordered with an automated transmission or a 6-speed manual, but this one was only sold in select markets. For the first time in history, the M5 appeared in the station wagon version, but it is extremely rare and only 1025 units of this variety were produced. The BMW Alpina B5 and B5 S were also produced with a 4.4 V8 supercharged engine. They generated 493 and 523 hp, respectively.
BMW 7 Series from Japan
Although many claim that the BMW 7 Series of the E38 series was the last real BMW, contrary to appearances, it is rarely seen at Japanese auctions. However, when it does appear, it is most often an extended version of the L7, where the car has a length of 5.37 m. Only 899 copies of this model have been built, so you have to be patient if you want the unique E38. They were also on sale based on the BMW Alpina B12 5.7 and B12 6.0 Series 7 E38, which were based on the 750i and 750iL.
In 2001, a generation with the designation E65 entered the salons, which could only be loved or hated, or at least such two camps were shared by fans of the brand. However, Chris Bangle and BMW engineers have designed a timeless limousine that now arouses admiration even among initial skeptics. It was sold with V8 and V12 engines. In 2002, an extended version of the E66 with the designation Li was introduced.
On the basis of this model, the BMW Alpina B7 was created. Production started in 2004. A 4.4 V8 engine with a compressor went under the hood. Only 1,114 units of this model were produced. From the outside, it was distinguished by quite flashy additions for the series 7 in the form of wheels with a diameter of 21 inches and a rear spoiler. Sports seats were installed in the interior.
BMW Z3 and Z4
If you are looking for a car for weekend trips on summer weekends, then in Japan you can easily buy the perfectly maintained BMW Z3 and its successor, the Z4. These are classic roadsters that are short, low and light, so driving such a car will be a pure pleasure for you.
If you want to stand out, it is worth looking for, for example, the BMW Z3 in the Coupe body, although its appearance evokes extreme emotions. The car came out with 2.8 and 3.0i engines and only had rear-axle drive. For the Z4, such a version was offered only in the first generation of the model. The BMW Z4 M Coupe had an engine from the BMW M3 E46.
